The CELLS Project Youth Club sets out to create a safe space for kids, aged 8 to 12, through fun and engaging weekly activities. This page is a news board to keep up to date on some of our previous and upcoming Youth Club events.

Tonight was all about fruity fun and healthy choices as the kids got stuck into making their own smoothies. With strawberries, bananas, mango, blueberries and more, they blended up their favourite combinations to create colourful, tasty drinks. A hands-on activity that was as refreshing as it was creative!

Tonight we fired up the BBQ and got cooking with a tasty feast of burgers and hot dogs. The kids had the chance to help prep, build their own buns with toppings, and of course enjoy the smoky flavours of a summer night. It was a brilliant way to come together, share food, and celebrate all the hard work they’ve been doing.

Today we took the kids on an exciting trip to Frodsham Kayaking, where they got the chance to try both paddleboarding and kayaking. For many it was their first time out on the water, and it was fantastic to see everyone working together, building confidence, and having fun. There were lots of laughs, a few splashes, and plenty of memories made on this amazing adventure.

Tonight was all about colour, flavour, and fun as the kids made their own fruity creations with Fruit Kebab Night! Everyone got hands-on assembling their own strawberry, melon, berry and chocolate mix. It was a great way to encourage healthy eating in a fun, creative way, and the results were as delicious as they looked!

We swapped the takeaway for teamwork as the kids became sandwich artists for the evening with our very own Subway Sandwich Night! They picked their base, stacked their toppings, added sauces, and made their perfect custom sub. It was brilliant to see everyone get stuck in, share ideas, and learn how easy (and tasty) it is to make your own fresh meal.

Things got sweet at Cookie Dough & Ice Cream Night! The kids mixed up their own cookie dough before adding a scoop (or two!) of ice cream to finish it off. A fun and tasty way to build confidence in the kitchen and enjoy a well-earned treat together.

Tonight we got creative and a little messy too with these incredible finger paints! Here the kids got to find fun and exciting ways of creating art. There was also some friendly competition as they played knock out on Kinnect4.

Tonight the kids put their little chef hats on and baked some home-made sausage rolls. They went rolling out the pastry, wrapping the roll, scoring, egg washing and then finally baking in the air fryer. Everyone got to learn a great new skill that they can use at home and all got a tasty treat out of it.

Tonight we welcomed Rainbow Holistics, who guided the kids through a calming session of massage and meditation. Everyone had the chance to unwind, learn simple relaxation techniques, and take a break from the usual rush. It was a wonderful opportunity to focus on wellbeing and give the children some tools to help them feel calm and centred.

Tonight we were joined by Boo’s Mobile Zoo, a local party service, to bring our kids a petting zoo experience. Here the kids got to interact with many exotic and unique animals such as lizards, snakes meerkats and more.

Today we were met by our good friends Zorb Events Ltd, who hosted a zorb part with our youths. The kids got to work together, playing in teams to bash into their opponents. Lots of fun was had and even our own youth worker Jemma got involved.

Today we invited in Amy from Hula Hula Fun to teach our kids some of her incredible circus acts. Amy is an experienced member of the circus and it was great to see so many of the kids try something new that they otherwise may never have done. A really great event with some really talented young people.

Tonight we went back to basics and had a good old football match. the kids got to work together and communicate to help their teams win as well as show off some of their skills with the ball. So many future footie stars in the making.

Joined by Zorb Events Ltd, we threw a UV Light Party! The kids had to compete in teams to complete some fun tasks like a sprint race, egg and spoon race, space hoppers and more. This was a great team building exercise and was such fun for all involved.

Its party time! This week we put on a rave, hosted by our very own young DJ, Nathan. Everyone got up and sang some songs, had a dance, played some games and enjoyed our buffet. A great celebration that was well deserved for all these incredible kids.
